2017 Board of Director Voting - Deadline Approaching

Note: Only AAP Member Owners are eligible to vote and only one vote per membership.

This email is to inform you that American Associated Pharmacies (AAP) will be conducting the 2017 Board of Director’s Voting process electronically. While paper ballots will still be available upon request, use of electronic voting will save you time and your cooperative money.

AAP Member Owners received an email March 27th and April 10th from Eballot-VoteNet, the third-party vendor that's facilitating the voting. The email is very important as it contains your username, password, and link to vote. Please check your spam folder if you don't receive it.


Voting begins Monday, March 27th and ends on April 27th, 1 PM EDT. 

 2017 Board of Directors Candidate Information

Notice is hereby given that the Annual Meeting of the Members of American Associated Pharmacies, (the “Cooperative”), will be held at the Gaylord Palms, located at 6000 W. Osceola Pkwy, Kissimmee, Florida on April 27, 2017 at 4:30 PM (local time). The meeting is being held for the following purposes:

 (1) To elect two (2) Class C directors from the West district to serve for a term of three (3) years, two (2) Class C directors from the East district to serve for a term of three (3) years, and one (1) Class B director from the East district to serve for a term of two (2) years. Directors will serve until their successors are duly elected and qualified.

(2) To ratify the appointment by the Board of Directors of Gant Croft & Associates, P.C. of Scottsboro, Alabama, as the Cooperative’s independent public accountants for 2016,

(3) To transact such other business as may properly come before the meeting or any adjournment thereof.

The Cooperative’s Board of Directors has fixed March 1, 2017 as the record date for the determination of the Members entitled to notice of and to vote at the Annual Meeting, or any adjournment thereof.

Copies of the Cooperative’s audited financial statements for the year ended December 31, 2016 will be available at the Meeting.

Whether or not you are able to attend the Annual Meeting, you may complete the online ballot by 1 pm Eastern time, April 27, 2017. If you are able to attend the meeting, you may vote personally on all matters brought before the meeting.

Member proposals intended for presentation at the 2018 Annual Meeting of the Members must be received by the Cooperative for inclusion in its 2018 ballot no later than December 31, 2017.
